I called my doctor's office this morning and left a message that I was without my chair and could they please return the fax to Rehab Specialist so I wouldn't be without my chair too much longer and Aline called me back this afternoon and said that she had already sent it, she is such a neat lady and truly caring. I called rehab Specialist and she said that she did have the fax and she was getting ready to call me and tell me that they could pick up my chair on Friday. Without thinking I thanked her and then hung up without asking if I brought my chair in tomorrow morning would it be fixed faster so I will call her back tomorrow and ask, I don't know if I could stand 3 X more days without my chair without going insane... I'm sure those 2 cups of coffee that I had, with caffeine, are not helping.
Pat, the realtor for both my mom and I came by this morning and said that we both got an offer on our house. Pat showed my mom's house this morning at 10 a.m. and she said the lady loved everything about it and wants to make an offer before anybody else does. About a month ago a couple came by to look at my place and I happened to be sitting on the porch so they asked if they could come in and look. Their daughters husband has the beginning stages of MS and although he's doing really good now sooner or later he will need the ramp and the lift. The daughter came by and looked at it and when she told her husband about it he didn't want to hear it, he was not ready to accept the fact that he was going to need them. Apparently she talked him into it and they made me an offer. It looks like by the time we sell our places the new place is going to be done, perfect timing.
Charlie called me this afternoon and said that they are getting ready to title next week so we can go order the appliances on Friday, if I have my chair back...cross your fingers.
