I finally got my chair fixed today, not in time to get up but I will have it for next week. After my mom trying to fix it last night and Madonna trying to fix it this morning, both of them very mechanically inclined, my mom figured it out. I spent most of the day on the phone with Rehab Specialist trying to get a doctor's prescription so they could make the appointment to fix it.
Angie came by tonight with some paint samples for the outside of my new house in Santa Cruz. At first I was looking at kind of a sage color but my neighbor right across the street had the exact color that I wanted so I'm going to go with gray.
A friend of Lynn's, the OT at Valley Medical who helped me pick out Mike's new chair, introduced me to a lady that wanted to check out Multimedia Max. she can buy today for a couple of hours and we had a really nice visit, why is it that I am meeting all these really nice people when I'm getting ready to move?
I'm sitting here watching celebrity rehab with Dr. Drew and it is so heartbreaking. I keep asking myself why am I watching it but I can't seem to turn the channel. For some reason I started watching celebrity gossip channels like TMZ, Inside Edition, Entertainment Tonight. I get mad at other people who dwell on celebrities pain troubles that they go through but I myself watch it, what is up with that?
