Familiar faces...

I had a really surprisingly good day today.  I thought I was going to be really cranky because I've been stuck in his bed for so long but the day went by really fast.  I called Rehab Specialist and asked them if I brought my chair in early if I could get it fixed any sooner and they said yes, if I bring it in this afternoon they will set me up with a 9:30 a.m. appointment tomorrow morning, so tomorrow when Aiesha gets here at 1 p.m. she can go and pick it up for me.

I need to go Friday and purchase the kitchen appliances for my new place and it will be SO nice to get out of this bed and out into the world once again.

The realtor called my mom this morning and wanted to show her house again.  After they looked at my mom's house they came by to look at mine, the realtor knocked on the door to see if it was okay and I told him to come on in.  It was a gentleman and his parents, his parents live in Lake Tahoe and he wants them here so he can take care of them and not have to worry.  I kept looking at the guy because he looked so familiar and then it dawned on me, it was Jim of Jim and Brenda.  They come by every two or three months to play cribbage with our cribbage group, it just kind of threw me a little bit because I wasn't expecting to see him and I couldn't think of where I knew him from.  It made me realize that I'm ready for another cribbage night.  His parents are the sweetest couple and I really think that they would love it here.

Rich, the dog trainer, came buy today to work with Brodie on the treadmill, yes my yuppie puppy has a treadmill.  I need to get her to stay on that longer without somebody standing there watching her and she did pretty good today.  We're going to work on it for a couple more weeks and life will be perfect once again.
